A Big Family!

Well, this is a sad posting. After MUCH debating we have decided it is time to give our dogs away. Riley (the Miniature Dachshund) has been a part of the family for 4 years and Mattie (the Great Dane) for 2 years. They are used to being our babies instead of Brianna. Truth be told, since Brianna was born we don't give them the attention they are used to or that they deserve. Please pray for us because this is very hard for us to do, but we feel like we are doing what is best for them. Before we find new homes for them though, we decided we should have some family pictures, so here they are!!

Thanksgiving

We have a lot to be thankful for this year. I'm sure you can guess what is at the top of the list! I thank God for all of my wonderful family and friends, we are very blessed!

First Snow!!

The day of Brianna's sixth month old birthday it snowed. For those of you who know me really well, you know that I LOVE snow. I could not resist bundling her up and taking pictures of her in the snow!! Don't worry I only kept her out there for a few minutes, but we enjoyed it!!

Brianna's Baptism

This past Sunday Brianna and Jeremy both got Baptized. It was a very special occasion and we were very blessed to have so many of our family there.

Her christening dress was beautiful. Her Aunt Nanette got that for her before she was born. This is Brianna with her Aunt Leta. Brianna with her Nana.


This is all of Brianna's grandparents and great-grandparents except for two. You know she does not get a lot of attention (ha ha).

Bumble Bri

For Brianna's first Halloween, we dressed her up as a bumble bee and went to visit A LOT of our family. Needless to say, we didn't have to worry about Brianna getting cold and she did surprisingly well. Getting her in the car seat, however was not fun!!

First Trek

This past Sunday, we took Brianna on her first hike up Hawksbill Trail. Going up was pretty rough for me which made me realize how out of shape I am. Thank goodness for Jeremy though, who carried Brianna the whole way, what a good Daddy!!

The view was incredible!! Well worth the climb.


Aaron's mom used to take Aaron and I on this trail when we were growing up, so it brings a lot of good memories back, I love this trail!!

Feeding Frenzy

Brianna has finally gotten her first taste of real food, well as real as baby food can be. Her first taste of baby food was rice cereal, here are some pictures! Hope you enjoy, she didn't.

Rolly Polly

Well, I started back to work on Sept 12, so it has obviously effected my postings. It has been a struggle to keep up with the everyday chores, but in two weeks I will be going part-time. Hopefully, after that I will have more time. Since my last posting, Brianna has started rolling over, it was definitely an exciting day. Here is the second time we saw her do it. I'm sorry for the poor image, it was from my cell phone.

Family Fun

Jeremy and I both have big family's and we have been trying to have Brianna spend plenty of time around all of them. This has definitely kept us on the road a lot this summer, but it has been worth it. These pictures are from my family reunion back in August, which is one of my favorite times of the year.

Four generations, WOW!

We enjoy hanging out with my cousin Aaron and her husband John Mark. Aaron and I grew up together and spent a lot of time together, so she is more like a sister.

These pictures are from a picnic with Jeremy's family last Sunday. There are a lot of new babies!

Zoey, Emma, and Brianna are all within 26 days of each other. I think they are going to enjoy growing up together.

Sweet Dreams

Well, we finally moved Brianna from the bassinet in our room to her crib in her bedroom. I definitely put it off as long as I could and I have to admit that first night was a little rough for me. I'm still adjusting but so far the move has went pretty well. The only problem is the way Brianna scoots down in the bed and out of her pillow wedge. It still worries me, but we did move it lower in the crib so it helps because she is then already at the bottom of the crib. Here are some pictures of her first night and how we found her sleeping in the morning.

The Great Debater

Last week, we were watching the Republican National Convention and Brianna decided she had something to say too. However she would quit talking when we muted the tv, it was so funny!! I hope everyone gets a laugh out of it too.

Wedding days

A couple of weeks ago, August 23rd to be exact, one of my best friends got married in Nashville, TN. It was a beautiful wedding! Caroline and her husband Ken are perfect for each other and I could not be happier for them both. I wish them the best!! We love you guys!

















Holly, Caroline, and I were roommates during college, where we quickly became lifelong best friends. We all definitely have our quirks and different personalities, but we compliment each other wonderfully!
